The Batavia City Centre project is the cornerstone of our downtown revitalization strategy. By moving away from the traditional mall model, we are reconfiguration this massive footprint into a modern, integrated complex that serves the diverse needs of 21st– century Batavia.
Key improvements to the façade, entrances, and interior flow are creating a welcoming environment for a mix of professional offices, healthcare services, and unique retail boutiques. This project is dedicated to eliminating the “fortress” feel of the old structure, instead opening it up to the streetscape to drive foot traffic and foster a sense of connectivity. As we continue to fill these spaces with anchor tenants, the City Centre is once again becoming a bustling economic engine of Genesee County.
